With the season having reached its midway point echoed by the All-Star game in San Jose, the New York Red Bulls are looking to add reinforcements in anticipation of making a playoff run. Those reinforcements could seemingly come in the form of Austrian international Daniel Royer.

Royer, 26, would be coming to New York from FC Midtjylland for a reported fee of $224,000.
The winger, who is able to play on either side, has experience playing in Germany’s top division, having had spells with Hannover 96 and FC Koln, while also being capped six times internationally by Austria.
Royer is currently undergoing a medical in the United States of America with the deal set to be come official early next week.
