Nets Sign Spencer Dinwiddie, Waive Yogi Ferrell

The Brooklyn Nets have signed free agent point guard Spencer Dinwiddie to a partially guaranteed contract, waiving Yogi Ferrell in the process to make room on the roster.

The roster currently stands at 15 players deep.

Currently possessing a 6-15 record, Kenny Atkinson and the Nets are currently the second worst team in the Eastern Conference.

A second round pick of the Detroit Pistons in 2014, Dinwiddie, 23, has 46 games of NBA experience over two seasons, posting averages of 4.4 points per game, 2.7 assists per game and 1.4 rebounds per game for the Pistons. Dinwiddie made a stop in Chicago and was on the Bulls roster, but never saw a minute in the NBA, instead playing five preseason games.
